A large scale simulation proceeds of a Galaxy class emergency landing procedure inside a Bolian "Cubexe"

A cubical version of a Dyson Sphere, these "stations" were called Cubexes, and were created by Bolian Engineers with gravity plating and replication technology before large scale holodecks were constructed. Cubexes were to serve as modular habitats to train large groups of officers and medium sized ships in different climates/gravity. After years of experimentation, they largely wound up serving a humanitarian purpose as temporary "housing" for large populations of displaced peoples. The climates could be adapted to suit their needs. Here, a Galaxy class saucer and her shuttles are performing training exercises in emergency landing procedures under different gravity conditions and in different terrains and climates. Starfleet played around with the idea as the Bolians maintained their Cubexes were superior to holodeck simulations for engineers to test real "mega-scale" hardware in "real-world" environments.
